Discussion:
7.1a; function of time?

7.1a mentions a function of V1 and V2; not those two, and time. I
would've assumed time (because it appears necessary), but part d
actually specifies THAT function is time-dependent. For that matter,
should both a and b be functions of all three V1, V2, and time?

So the general sinusoidal input source has a magnitude, a frequency and a
phase. Assume that both frequencies are the same. You will end up using
phasors. With a sinusoidal source, the exact start time doesn't
matter(because the source is periodic). Rather, the phase matters.
Hopefully this helps.
