I installed the LabView that comes with the textbook. I tried to open the
LabView files that we used for diode labs, and it doesn't open it. It says
"VI version 7.1 is newer than LabView 7.0"

Does anybody have this problem?

Hmm..unfortunately, I don't know of any way to solve it. However, contact
NI technical support, they are pretty quick in responding and accurate.

On a side note, you can't completely run the VIs we have in lab anyway.
This is because you most likely don't have a data acquisition card.

If you have labview 7.1 (remote desktop into the UCB computers or something)
you can open the VI and save it in a 7.0-compatible format.
