Discussion:
Birge hall? Few people know where it is.

Myself and several others had no idea where Birge is. I found it after
getting home and looking online, but I believe it's reasonable to give
more explicit directions when telling Engineers to go to a building
they've almost surely not been to.

Because I don't want to go all the way back to the review, I humbly
request that the homework solutions be posted as soon as feasible.

Thanks,

yeah i had this problem with the first review section; had no idea they changed
the location until I went to 277 Cory, was confused, and went home to check.

doesn't help things that the website has been vacillating between correct and
incorrect locations for the reviews.

I went ahead and scanned in the HW9 solutions. You can find them here:

Hello all,

Prof. Neureuther made a mistake when he was updating the webpage. As for
the review itself, you didn't miss much. However, there is a concern
about positive feedback being in one form or the other on the test.
Apparently, Prof. Neureuther didn't rule it out.

Anyway, there is a positive feedback question on midterm #2 from EE40 in Fall
1999. HOWEVER, the solution is not completely correct. Although it leads
to the correct physical explanation, it is mathematically incorrect. The
correction is: there should be a line from (0.1,5.2) to (0.204,0). The two
vertical lines at Vin=0.1 and Vin=0.204 do not make any sense.

Anyway, I will be in 10 Evans around 8:45 AM if you want to talk about
positive feedback.
